Prior to practicing osteopathy, Danya was working as a Registered Nurse in home care. Shortly after graduating from her B.Sc.N. program at Laurentian University, she decided to pursue studies in Traditional Osteopathy. In 2012, she began her studies in osteopathy eager to learn new methods to treat the causes of pain and imbalance, learning new methods to restore health and balance to her patients’ bodies. She joined Nadia’s practice in 2015, where she continued to learn and grow as a practitioner under Nadia’s guidance. Danya completed her degree in Osteopathy at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in 2018. In 2020, she expanded her practice by completing a course on Neurological Myofascial Release for Animals and now offers manual treatments for small and large animals. Victor graduated from the University of Toronto’s Kinesiology program in the spring of 2015. After graduating from University, he wanted to deepen his understanding of the human body. Jess’ role at the studio will be to keep you moving safely as you enhance your mind, body and spirit. She will help you improve core strength, alignment, flexibility and mobility and decrease anxiety and stress, through Yoga and Pilates.

Jess’ yoga background will allow for variety and fun movements in her classes. She has a soft and calm demeanor but will challenge you at the same time. Her cueing is simple and to the point. Jess likes to keep her clients moving and has a knack for modifying movements to make them work for every’body’. The safety and well-being of her clients is very important to her, she will challenge you in a safe non invasive way. Jess loves to create a fun yet relaxing environment with playlists so be sure to let her know your favorite song. Not into music ? That’s okay too, she also likes to embraces the silence and listen to breath. You will enjoy the last 5 mins of class as Jess guides you to rest and relaxation. You will leave feeling strong, recharged and detoxified.

Jess graduated from Humber College from the Funeral Service Education Program in Toronto. Since then she has served families in the Timmins and Canmore, Alberta area. As a hobby, Jess has always been active in the health and fitness world. From team sports, half marathons, snowboarding, rock climbing, hiking, personal training and yoga.

Jess studied core power yoga and mentored with Jenny Wong from Bodhi Tree Hot Yoga Studio and has been teaching there since 2012. She enjoys participating and teaching hot yoga vinyasa classes. She claims to be a lifetime student, always learning and evolving. She has taken additional courses and workshops to compliment her teachings ie: personal training Canfit, anatomy and physiology, yoga for pelvic floor strength, shaking method (for trauma, ptsd), meditation, yoga Nidra, yoga assisting, kids yoga, restore with hot stones, pre-natal yoga, transitions/modifications and PILATES. She is currently studying the applied therapeutic yoga program.

An injury changed her personal practice and that is when she discovered the importance of listening to your own body’s limitations and modifying when needed. Her practice continues to give her strength and calmness and she wants to share it with you.

Kristie graduated from Fleming College in Peterborough in 2016 and treated clients in the Northumberland and Kawartha areas before relocating to Timmins. Working in both spa and clinic environments, in addition to making frequent in-home visits, Kristie is versatile and determined to help others reduce pain and improve mobility so they can more fully enjoy their lives. She values both the connections established through touch and the trust required to recover and heal.
